About Aurora
My teaching methodology is centred on flexibility and adaptability, recognising that each student has a unique learning style and pace. By understanding the student’s personality, musical background, and aspirations, I can design a roadmap that ensures steady progress while keeping the learning process enjoyable and motivating. This personalised approach allows students to feel supported and confident as they develop their vocal skills and explore their creative potential. I place a strong emphasis on practical learning by incorporating real-life examples, case studies, and performance scenarios into every lesson. This method helps students connect theory with practice, making abstract concepts easier to understand and apply. From breath control exercises to stage performance techniques, every aspect of the lesson is designed to be engaging, hands-on, and directly relevant to the student’s musical journey. By encouraging experimentation and creative expression, I help students build both technical skill and artistic confidence, ensuring they are prepared for real-world singing opportunities. Beyond singing, I also integrate relevant subjects and complementary skills into my teaching to provide a holistic learning experience. Communication, expression, music theory, and performance etiquette are woven into lessons, enabling students to become well-rounded performers. I am a passionate and dedicated vocal coach with over 3 years of experience teaching singing to high school and college students. Throughout my career, I have worked with 300-350 students, helping them explore and develop their unique vocal abilities. My teaching approach focuses on understanding each student’s individual needs, strengths, and learning style, ensuring that every lesson is tailored to maximise growth and progress. I aim to create a supportive and inspiring environment where students feel confident to express themselves fully through their voice. My lessons emphasise building vocal range, strength, tone, and expression while fostering artistic creativity. I integrate practical exercises, real-life examples, and performance techniques to help students connect with their music in meaningful ways. Beyond technical skills, I guide students in stage presence, breath control, and emotional interpretation, enabling them to perform with confidence and authenticity. I take pride in helping students overcome challenges, refine their abilities, and develop a consistent practice routine that leads to measurable improvements. One of the most rewarding aspects of my work is witnessing my students succeed in school performances, competitions, and personal projects. Many of them have achieved remarkable milestones, from mastering challenging pieces to performing confidently in front of large audiences. Seeing their growth not only as singers but also as confident individuals inspires me to continually improve my teaching methods. My ultimate goal is to empower each student to discover their voice, express themselves with passion, and achieve their musical dreams.
