About Lou

As a Singing tutor with 12 years of experience, I have successfully helped students improve their vocal abilities and build confidence in their performances. I teach School students, College students, and Working Professionals who are eager to develop their musical talents and enjoy the process of learning.

My teaching style is encouraging, flexible, and goal-oriented. I begin by understanding each student's objectives and current skill level. Based on this information, I create customised lessons that provide the right balance of challenge and support.

My classes include vocal training, breath control, pitch improvement, rhythm exercises, tone development, and stage performance techniques. I use practical activities, real-song applications, and performance reviews to make learning interactive and effective. Students receive regular guidance and encouragement to help them stay motivated.

I also teach Music Theory, Ear Training, Vocal Coaching, and Performance Skills. These related subjects strengthen students' understanding of music and contribute to their overall growth as performers. I emphasise consistency, discipline, and creativity throughout the learning process.

One of my greatest strengths is helping students build self-confidence. I believe that every learner has unique potential, and I am committed to helping them achieve it. My lessons are designed to inspire progress, creativity, and enjoyment while helping students become skilled and confident singers.

About the lesson

My Singing teaching methodology focuses on helping students improve their vocal abilities while building confidence and musical awareness. By combining flexibility, creativity, understanding, and effective time management, I create a learning environment that supports both personal and artistic growth.

Every student learns differently, so I customise lessons according to their individual goals and learning styles. I assess each student's strengths and areas for improvement before creating a personalised learning plan.

Creativity keeps lessons engaging and enjoyable. I use song-based learning, vocal exercises, listening activities, and creative performance tasks to encourage active participation and skill development. Students learn not only how to sing but also how to connect emotionally with music.

My lessons emphasise proper breathing, vocal control, pitch accuracy, rhythm, diction, resonance, and performance techniques. Students learn practical skills that can be applied immediately during practice and performances.

Understanding is one of the foundations of my teaching approach. I create a supportive atmosphere where students feel comfortable making mistakes and learning from them. Constructive feedback and encouragement help students build self-confidence and motivation.

Time management is essential for effective learning. Each lesson follows a clear structure that includes vocal warm-ups, technique development, song application, and progress evaluation.

I can also teach Music Theory, Ear Training, Vocal Care, Performance Coaching, and Sight Singing. My goal is to help students become confident singers who enjoy expressing themselves through music.
