About Mehansa
Hi! I'm Mehansa, a passionate and experienced Sinhala tutor with a deep love for both the language and culture. As a fluent Sinhala speaker from Sri Lanka, I understand how important it is to connect with the language on a personal level, which is why I take a dedicated and individualized approach to tutoring.
Having completed my IGCSE Sinhala with an A*, I know exactly what it takes to excel in exams while also developing a genuine appreciation for the language. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of helping students at all levels, from beginners just starting their Sinhala journey to intermediate learners aiming to improve fluency. My ultimate goal is to make learning Sinhala enjoyable and accessible while ensuring students feel confident in their skills.
I’m passionate about building strong relationships with my students to make each lesson more engaging. I take time to understand each student’s unique learning style, so I can tailor my lessons accordingly. Whether it’s speaking, reading, or writing, I provide a comprehensive and structured approach based on the Sri Lankan government syllabus, ensuring steady progress while also preparing for exams.
