About Garip
I am an experienced software developer, IT architect, and educator with over 35 years of professional experience in the technology industry. As the founder and director of VisioSoft, a London-based web development company, I have designed and delivered large-scale systems for major UK organisations and mentored many junior developers and students along the way. I hold a BSc in Physics and Computer Studies from Middle East Technical University and a Level 3 Award in Education and Training (PTLLS) from Waltham Forest College, London. My background gives me a unique combination of deep technical knowledge and effective teaching skills. I’m passionate about helping students build real understanding and confidence — not just memorise facts. Whether I’m teaching Computer Science, Physics, or Maths, I connect theory with practice, showing how the concepts apply in real life. My lessons are clear, structured, and supportive, helping learners achieve strong results while enjoying the process of learning.

I focus on making complex concepts simple and practical by connecting theory to real-world applications. I adapt my teaching style to each learner’s needs — whether that means explaining concepts visually, breaking down exam questions step by step, or guiding through hands-on coding exercises. I also encourage students to think critically and develop independent learning skills. Typical lessons last 60 minutes, though I can adjust the duration based on the student’s level and focus area. With over 35 years of professional experience as a software developer, IT architect, and educator, I bring depth and relevance to Computer Science and ICT lessons. My background also helps me make Physics and Maths engaging by linking them to real-life systems and logic. I teach GCSE and A-Level students who want to build confidence, strengthen their understanding, and achieve excellent results in Computer Science, Physics, and Maths.
