About Prosper

Hello, I am Prosper, a dedicated software engineer and passionate STEM tutor with a strong academic background in Computer Science. I believe that every student can excel when given clear guidance, patient support and learning strategies that truly make sense. My goal is to help learners understand complex concepts in a simple, structured and engaging way, so that they can build real confidence in Math, Physics, Life Science and IT. I bring both industry experience and academic knowledge into my lessons, which allows me to explain not only how subjects work, but why they matter and how they connect to real-world problems. Students can expect professionalism, reliability and a calm learning environment where questions are always welcome. I take the time to understand each learner’s goals and tailor lessons to their level, whether they are aiming to improve grades, strengthen foundational skills or prepare for further studies in science and technology.

About the lesson

As a software engineer with a strong STEM background, my tutoring approach focuses on clarity, patience and deep understanding rather than memorisation. I use a problem solving methodology that helps students learn how to think through challenges, supported by simple explanations, visual breakdowns and real world examples that make complex ideas easier to grasp. What makes me unique as a tutor is the combination of technical expertise and supportive teaching. I help students see how Maths, Physics, Life Science and IT connect in practical ways, creating a calm and encouraging environment where they feel confident to ask questions and learn at their own pace. I teach in English and adapt my explanations to suit different learning styles, ensuring that each student can follow along comfortably. A typical lesson includes a quick check in, a breakdown of the topic, guided problem solving and active practice, with personalised feedback and exam focused strategies. My lessons are ideal for high school learners, university beginners, adult students returning to STEM subjects and anyone who wants to strengthen their understanding or improve their grades in Maths, Physics, Life Science or IT.
