About Jonas

Hola! I’m a Spanish tutor with over 10 years of experience and a Master of Science in Cybersecurity with a focus on Spanish language use. My true passion is helping food lovers and culinary professionals connect with Spanish through the world of cuisine. Whether you're reading recipes, speaking with chefs, or traveling to food destinations, I guide you every step of the way. My lessons move at a calm, steady pace, allowing you to absorb the language naturally. We use taste-bud-friendly techniques that connect words to flavors, making learning both practical and fun. I create welcoming lessons where you can practice real dialogues for ordering at restaurants, discussing ingredients, and exploring regional dishes. We also dive into the rich food cultures of Spanish-speaking countries, blending language with tradition. Through each lesson, you’ll build the confidence to navigate kitchens, markets, and dining tables around the world. Together, we’ll turn your love for food into a flavorful Spanish journey. Let’s savor the world, one delicious phrase at a time!

About the lesson

In my Spanish lessons, I focus on real-world conversation and practical use. Every lesson includes active speaking practice to help students feel comfortable in daily situations. We use scenario-based exercises, such as ordering food, asking for directions, or booking travel, to build confidence. I also include survival phrases that are essential for quick understanding and clear communication.

Cultural immersion is a big part of my teaching. I bring in music, traditions, and customs to make the language come alive. Students learn not only the words but also the culture behind them. For those preparing for exams, I offer structured lessons that cover grammar, vocabulary, and test-taking strategies.

I adjust each lesson to fit the student’s level and goals. Some learners need more support with speaking; others focus on reading or listening. I guide each student with patience and encouragement. My goal is to build fluency that can be used right away in real life. With clear steps and regular practice, every student can succeed in speaking Spanish with confidence.
