About Amy
My goal as a music teacher is to instill a curiosity about music and build your confidence. I lean into student choice and work hard to make sure my students have a voice in how their lessons are run. I am warm, caring, understanding, and can be pretty silly.

My lessons are very student directed and focus on the student and teacher relationship. I create a safe space where students can explore their musical interests. With ten years of special education experience, I have scaffolded lesson ready with many ways to differentiate the learning process. While I generally work with students ages 12 and under, I have experience working with multiple ages, including adults.
