About Michelle Anne

Hello! I’m Michelle Anne, an experienced educator specializing in Inclusive Education and Special Needs Education. I have experience teaching learners with different abilities, learning styles, and academic needs, and I am passionate about creating learning experiences that are supportive, engaging, and meaningful.

I teach Special Needs Education, English, Science, and Elementary Mathematics using a patient, student-centered, and individualized approach. I believe that every learner can make progress when lessons are presented in a way that matches their abilities, interests, and learning pace.

My teaching style combines clear explanations, guided practice, visual materials, interactive activities, differentiated instruction, and positive reinforcement. I make sure that students understand each concept before moving to more challenging activities.

As an Inclusive Education educator, I understand that some learners may require additional time, repetition, encouragement, or adapted materials. I create a safe and welcoming environment where students can ask questions, make mistakes, and learn without fear of judgment.

Whether your child needs help strengthening academic skills, improving English, understanding Science concepts, developing Math skills, or receiving individualized support, I am here to help.

My goal is simple: to help every learner build knowledge, confidence, independence, and a genuine love for learnin

My Approach as a Tutor

As an educator with experience in Inclusive Education and Special Needs Education, I believe that every learner has their own strengths, learning style, pace, and needs. My goal is to create a safe, supportive, and enjoyable learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and developing confidence.

My Teaching Methods and Techniques

I use a student-centered, individualized, and inclusive approach. I adjust my teaching strategies according to the learner's ability, age, learning level, and specific needs.

My teaching techniques may include:

Simple and clear explanations using age-appropriate language
Step-by-step instruction and guided practice
Visual aids, pictures, examples, and demonstrations
Interactive activities, games, and worksheets
Repetition and reinforcement for learners who need additional practice
Differentiated activities based on the student's learning level
Positive reinforcement to build confidence and motivation
Real-life examples to make lessons meaningful and easier to understand
Regular questioning and feedback to check understanding
Adapted learning materials for students with special educational needs

For students who find certain concepts difficult, I break lessons into smaller and manageable steps before gradually increasing the level of difficulty.

A Typical Lesson

A typical lesson begins with a short warm-up or review of previously learned concepts. This allows me to check what the learner remembers and identify areas that may need additional support.

I then introduce the new lesson using simple explanations, examples, visual materials, or demonstrations. Afterward, we work together through guided activities before allowing the student to practice independently.

A typical lesson may follow this structure:

1. Warm-up and Review – 5–10 minutes
2. Introduction of the New Topic – 10–15 minutes
3. Guided Practice – 15–20 minutes
4. Independent or Interactive Activity – 15–20 minutes
5. Assessment and Feedback – 5–10 minutes
6. Summary and Follow-up Activity – 5 minutes

The lesson duration and activities can be adjusted depending on the student's age, attention span, learning needs, and goals.

What Sets Me Apart

What makes my tutoring approach different is my experience in inclusive education and working with learners with different abilities and learning needs. I understand that one teaching strategy does not work for every student.

Instead of simply giving answers, I guide learners toward understanding concepts and becoming more independent. I am patient with learners who need more time, while also providing appropriate challenges for students who are ready to advance.

I also believe that progress is more important than perfection. I celebrate small achievements because these can help students develop confidence and a positive attitude toward learning.

Who My Lessons Are For

I offer lessons for:

Elementary learners who need support in Mathematics
Students learning English, including reading, vocabulary, grammar, comprehension, and communication
Students studying Science at the elementary level
Learners who need support with basic academic skills
Students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
Learners who benefit from individualized, differentiated, or adapted instruction
Students who need additional practice, remediation, enrichment, or academic support

My lessons are especially suitable for learners who benefit from a patient, structured, encouraging, and personalized teaching approach.

My goal is not only to help students improve academically, but also to help them discover that learning can be enjoyable, achievable, and meaningful.
