About Emma

I have been tutoring undergraduate and postgraduate law since September 2019. I have taught all core subjects on the conversion course, LLB and SQE, receiving excellent feedback from students who are consistently awarded high commendations and distinctions. I have completed the SQE1, GDL, and I have an LLM in Environmental Law and Policy from UCL. I was awarded a distinction in the latter two and passed the SQE1 first time, self-taught. I currently work in Human Rights and Public Law as a Trainee Solicitor as part of my Qualifying Work Experience.

About the lesson

I tailor my teaching approach to each student’s individual needs, offering clear, engaging and accessible explanations across all core legal subjects. I am flexible in the subjects I teach and consistently help students achieve strong results in every area of law. Lessons can be delivered in a range of lengths to suit each learner’s preferences. I also have experience supporting students with additional needs and adapt my teaching methods to create an inclusive and effective learning environment.

Perfect! Emma is currently tutoring my son, Reagan, as he progresses through his LLB law degree, and we have already been extremely impressed with the impact she has made. Although the tutoring has only recently begun, Reagan has shown significant improvement in both his understanding of the material and his ability to apply legal principles effectively in his work.

Emma is completely reliable, well-prepared, and clearly has a strong grasp of the subject matter. She understands exactly what is required at degree level and communicates complex concepts in a way that is clear and manageable. Reagan has grown noticeably more confident in approaching his assignments and coursework since starting his sessions with her.
