About Tunde
With a deep passion for the logic of numbers and the future of technology, I bring a high level of academic rigour and professional empathy to every tutoring session. As a current Sixth Form Lecturer at EKC College, I don't just know the subjects—I know exactly how they are assessed and how to help students navigate the pressure of exam season.

My educational background is rooted in the University of Kent, where I earned my First Degree in Mathematics, followed by a Master’s in Advanced Computer Science. This combination allows me to bridge the gap between abstract mathematical theory and the practical, high-level logic required for modern Computing and Further Maths. Whether you are struggling with calculus or complex algorithms, I can break down the most intimidating topics into manageable, logical steps.

My teaching methodology is built on cognitive load theory and scaffolded learning. I don't just show you how to solve a problem; I help you understand the "why" behind the logic. This is especially vital for complex subjects like Further Maths and Computing, where a deep conceptual foundation is the key to tackling unfamiliar exam questions.
In my sessions, I use a "I Do, We Do, You Do" approach:
I Do: I demonstrate a technique or concept clearly.
We Do: We work through several examples together to build confidence.
You Do: You tackle independent practice while I provide immediate, constructive feedback.
Lesson Structure & Duration
A typical lesson lasts 60 minutes, though I offer 90-minute sessions for A-Level Further Maths students who require deep dives into complex mechanics or discrete modules. Every lesson begins with a "retrieval starter" to sharpen your memory of previous topics and ends with a summary of key takeaways.

I am a dedicated Sixth Form Lecturer at EKC College in Kent, where I specialise in delivering the GCSE and A-Level curriculum daily. Being in the classroom every day means I am always up-to-date with the latest AQA, Edexcel, and OCR exam board requirements and marking schemes.
