About Rowiedel Antonette
Hi! I’m Antonette, a friendly, patient, and approachable Tagalog tutor from the Philippines. I enjoy meeting people from different backgrounds and helping them feel more confident using the Filipino language.
I believe learning a language is more than memorizing words and grammar—it’s about being able to connect with people and communicate naturally. That’s why I like to make my lessons relaxed, practical, and enjoyable. We can focus on everyday conversations, pronunciation, vocabulary, or anything you specifically want to improve.
I’m comfortable teaching beginners and learners at different levels, and I’m always happy to adjust my lessons to your pace and goals. Whether you’re learning Tagalog for travel, work, family, friendship, or simply because you’re interested in Filipino culture, I’d love to help you along the way.

I believe learning Tagalog should be fun, comfortable, and practical. As a tutor, I want my students to feel relaxed and confident when speaking, even if they make mistakes. I’m patient, friendly, and happy to adjust my lessons based on each student’s learning style, level, and goals.
In my lessons, I focus on useful Tagalog words, phrases, pronunciation, sentence construction, and everyday conversations. We usually start with a quick review, then learn something new through simple examples and guided practice. After that, we’ll practice speaking through conversations and real-life situations so you can use what you’ve learned naturally.
What makes my lessons different is that I don’t want students to simply memorize words. I want them to understand how Tagalog is actually used in everyday Filipino conversations. I can also share simple insights about Filipino culture and expressions to help you understand not just the language, but also how Filipinos communicate.
My lessons are perfect for beginners, intermediate learners, travelers, foreign students, people with Filipino friends or family, and anyone who simply wants to learn Tagalog for fun. Whether your goal is to have your first Filipino conversation or become more comfortable speaking Tagalog, I’ll be happy to learn with you and help you improve one step at a time.
