About Owen
I've been teaching for many years now and currently hold a teaching position at Young Music Makers in Highgate alongside teaching a number of private students. Aside from teaching I am also a freelance trombone and piano player with a wealth of performing experience including with the John Wilson Orchestra, the BBC Big Band, Hermeto Pascoal, Jimmy Somerville and on the West End production of Sinatra: The Man and His Music. I am a graduate of the Royal Academy of Music.

I'm a brass and piano teacher predominantly although I also currently teach private lessons in music theory (normally with an aim to pass grade 5 theory) and tutor students for GCSE music exams. My teaching is always tailored as much as possible to what the student wants wether that's passing an exam, learning a specific set of skills or just enjoying playing music!
