About Andelie
I hold a Bachelor of Commerce Honors degree and bring over 40 years of experience in the field of education, spanning a diverse range of teaching, learning, and leadership roles. Throughout my career, I have remained deeply committed to the belief that every learner—regardless of background, ability, or circumstance—deserves an equal opportunity to succeed and to pursue their aspirations with confidence and dignity. My professional journey has been shaped not only by extensive experience in the traditional education sector but also by more than 20 years in the corporate world. This dual exposure has enriched my understanding of learning across the life span, particularly in the context of adult education and professional development. I have had the privilege of designing and facilitating learning interventions that bridge the gap between theory and practice, equipping adult learners with the tools they need to thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments. Whether working with school-age students or corporate professionals, my focus has always been on creating inclusive, high-quality learning experiences that empower individuals to realize their potential. My passion for education, combined with a strong foundation in commerce and business acumen, enables me to bring a strategic, learner-centered approach to every initiative I lead.

My approach when teaching is to meet students/learners where they are at, whether they are striving to pass, striving to improve or reaching for the skies. Every learner is unique and takes in new information in a unique way. I want to first know about you, your preferred style, your commitment and your goal, then we can put together your plan. I can teach in English and Afrikaans. I can teach school learners from Year 8 to 12, college learners and adult learners, depending on subjects chosen.
