About Rachel
My goal in tutoring literacy is to help as many students as possible achieve success in their literacy journey. I am passionate about teaching and learning, and enjoy seeing the progress and achievement that my students make. I understand that we are all individuals and therefore we progress at different stages, taking this into account when planning a program. All of my teaching is adapted to the student and their needs.

Alongside my extensive teaching career, I also hold a postgraduate diploma in education, endorsed in literacy. I am trained in the Better Start Literacy Approach (BSLA), as well as a number of structured literacy programs.
I work one to one with students, in person or online, and match my teaching to their needs via thorough observation and assessment.
