About Savannah
I am a qualified teacher with a PGCE in Post-14 Education and Training, an MA in Education specialising in Lifelong Learning, a BA (Hons) in Education Studies, and a Level 5 Diploma in Business Studies. I have worked in a university admissions team and successfully completed the 11+ myself, giving me valuable insight into the challenges students face. I believe in fostering a nurturing environment that equips individuals with skills that not only help them achieve academic success but also transfer into all aspects of life. My teaching experience includes working with learners preparing for maths at GCSE level, adult learners, and those with SEN requirements. My approach is calm, supportive, and professional, helping students build confidence, resilience, and the skills needed to succeed.

I personalise lessons to each student, focusing on building confidence, understanding, and resilience. Using interactive discussions, practical examples, and tailored exercises, I aim to develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills while incorporating wellbeing strategies for a balanced approach. Lessons are typically one hour but can be adjusted to suit individual needs. With a PGCE in Post-14 Education, an MA in Lifelong Learning, and extensive experience in teaching and wellbeing, I support learners across a range of needs, including adult learners, SEN, and GCSE students. My goal is to help every student reach their full potential with confidence.
