About Vehnisha
I am a dedicated and professional English tutor with a background in TESL, committed to helping students achieve real progress with confidence. I take pride in delivering well-structured, engaging lessons that are tailored to each student’s needs, whether they are building their foundation, preparing for exams, or improving their communication skills. My teaching approach is student-centered and results-focused, combining clear explanations, guided practice, and consistent feedback to ensure steady improvement. I am familiar with the KSSR and KSSM syllabus and have experience teaching learners of different ages and abilities, including primary, secondary, and adult students. I maintain a supportive yet disciplined learning environment where students feel comfortable to ask questions, make mistakes, and grow. My approach to tutoring is student-centred, engaging, and supportive, as I believe every student learns differently and needs guidance based on their individual level and pace. I use a variety of techniques such as interactive learning through discussions and real-life examples, step-by-step explanations to simplify difficult concepts, and practice-based activities including speaking, writing, and exercises to reinforce understanding. I also provide constructive error correction to help students learn from their mistakes confidently, while incorporating fun elements like games and relatable topics to keep lessons enjoyable and motivating. My lessons typically last between 1 to 1.5 hours and are structured with a warm-up or revision, followed by the main lesson focus, practice activities, and ending with feedback and improvement tips. I have a background in TESL and experience teaching students of different abilities, and I am familiar with the KSSR and KSSM syllabus, which allows me to effectively support students academically while also improving their practical communication skills. I have taught both one-to-one and small group classes, including students with weak foundations, low confidence, and those preparing for exams. My lessons are suitable for primary and secondary school students as well as adults who want to improve their English. Overall, my goal as a tutor is not just to teach English, but to help students become confident, independent, and motivated learners.
