About Maryna
I am a patient, dependable and organised person who enjoys helping others understand new information and grow in confidence. I hold a Diploma in Supply Chain Management and have many years of professional experience in administration, procurement and structured working environments.
I also have previous training and leadership experience as the Head Table Official for Shotokan South Africa, where I trained karate table officials in procedures, rules and their responsibilities. This experience taught me how important clear explanations, patience, accuracy and encouragement are when helping someone learn.
I am now developing my skills further in tutoring and learner support. I particularly enjoy working with learners who need someone calm and supportive to explain things in a simpler way. I believe every learner can make progress when they receive the right guidance, encouragement and opportunity to ask questions without feeling judged.

I offer patient, structured and supportive tutoring tailored to each learner’s individual needs. My lessons focus on helping students understand their schoolwork rather than simply giving them answers. I explain concepts step by step, check understanding and encourage learners to become more confident and independent.
I can teach in both Afrikaans and English and provide support with homework, reading, comprehension, assignments, projects, study skills and general academic preparation. My lessons are aimed mainly at primary and secondary school learners who need extra guidance, encouragement and a calm learning environment.
Students can expect lessons that are friendly, organised and easy to follow. I adapt my approach according to the learner’s age, level and learning needs, with the goal of making learning feel manageable and achievable.
