About Luke

I offer beginner acoustic guitar lessons.

I love music and I love teaching so this is the best outlet!

I have been playing guitar for 20 years. I was taught in my home by my mother when I was 15 and I haven't stopped playing since.

About the lesson

I do very basic beginner lessons. I teach the way I was taught: pick some simple songs you want to learn and learn the chords and strumming pattern with a song you love. I don't read sheet music, but I do chord sheets, and chord charts.

I have worked with a lot if Jr High and High School age students. At church I also taught a youth group band to play together at a beginner level.

I would suggest to look at a few different teachers before deciding. Many give the first lesson for free. Make sure it's what you're looking for to meet your goals.
