About Athena

I love to teach art to kids. There are no mistakes in art!! Due to COVID-19, I am only teaching through Zoom. Through the study of the world’s artists, your children will learn about the elements of arts- line, shape, color, form, etc. I have 3 years experience working with children ages 4-13.

I started teaching art to students when the international school where I taught Kindergarten needed an art teacher.

About the lesson

We start at the basics, creating beautiful artwork using simple methods to build confidence and loose creativity.

I have worked with children ages 4-16, including children with ADHD and ESL students.

I am available in the afternoons from 2:00-2:45 and 3:10-3:55. Look for someone who loves teaching art.

I taught a lesson about Ted Harrison (a Canadian artist) and it was so fun to see each child’s personality and likes/dislikes come through in their artwork. I loved seeing each child complete their project and proudly show it to their grown-ups.
