About Vincent

I began VS Tutoring as a Senior in high school. I had just taken the ACT and realized that many tutors were out of touch with the test. They were teaching complicated, out-of-date methods that students were not comprehending. At VS Tutoring, we pride ourselves on teaching efficient, helpful methods while adapting to each and every student's way-of-learning. Our students have shown that these simple, understandable methods work; we have an average ACT score of 29, 8 points above state averages, while also increasing student scores by an average of 4 points.

My satisfaction comes from seeing my students exceed using the tips that I gave them. For this reason, you can be assured that I will never give up on a student, and I will personally invest in the success of each and every student.

I got started in tutoring after I had an unsatisfactory experience with a tutor of my own. I realized many students are getting taught out-of-date methods that have not adapted to the test and generally lead to lower student scores. I set out to change this by putting an emphasis on using up-to-date methods that align with the learning style of each and every student.

About the lesson

Before beginning tutoring, I find it very important to learn how a new student learns. This first step may seem small and insignificant; however, it can completely shift how I tutor a student. As a result of this shift, a student who may need to take the test four times to get there desired score can now achieve that score in just one test.

I really liked the way they helped us with each subject, they really dove in on how to time manage for each section but also answer the question correctly. I also really liked how they helped my friends and I as a group but there was also one-on-one time where they helped us with problems we had individually.
