Firstly, it is the only Theatre venue which produces African-American Theatre on a consistent base in Tallahassee, Fl. Secondly, SoMo Playhouse opens its doors to the new up and coming artist of all races in the city. Thirdly, but not last, the director and staff are always looking to outreach to other artistic venues to do partnerships as they have done with The Frenchtown Coalition of The arts of which I am Senior Partner. I love this Theatre and on a scale of 1 -10, they receive a high 10 from me.
Wonderful staff and actors. Plays were always amazing!!
This place provided a voice to the voiceless. A narrative to the forgotten and a light within the darkness.
