About Jason

As an experienced acting coach, I unlock my clients' acting potential and prepare them for dynamic bookable auditions. My primary focus is on TV and FILM Audition Prep helping my clients nail their auditions every time.

My clients have booked roles on "The People v. OJ", "Jane the Virgin", "Transformers: The Last Knight", "New Girl", "Scandal", "American Horror Story", "American Crime Story: Versace", "The Middle", "Supergirl", "Criminal Minds" and many more.

As a professional working actor for the last 20 years and Audition Coach for the last 4 years, I have learned the ins and outs of the audition process and what each show, film or project requires in each distinct office. I not only help you work on your material, but prepare you for the experience of the audition and building your character.

In my own acting career, I have appeared on numerous TV shows and films including "Grey's Anatomy", "American Housewife", "Brooklyn 99", "Scandal", "BUNK'D", "Jane the Virgin", "The Great Indoors", "Hot in Cleveland", "Maron", "Kirby Buckets", "The Middle", "Disaster Movie", "Parks and Recreation", "Days of Our Lives", "The New Normal", "House MD", "Jake in Progress", "Guys with Kids", "Bad Judge", "Kath & Kim", "Monk", and the upcoming Netflix comedy "Alexa & Katie". I'm also a Producer and star of the comedy webseries "DogGone It" and have produced the award winning films "Like You Mean It" and "Dirty Talk" plus numerous other projects. Having experience in casting my own projects and ones for other filmmakers has also given me valuable insight into what it's like to be on the other side of an audition. I utilize all of these experiences to help my clients perform the best audition possible.

I have a BA's in Theatre and Communications from the University of California, San Diego.

I have also studied with numerous teachers in Los Angeles in Scene Study, Voice, Commercials, Improv at the Groundlings and standup at the Comedy Store.

About the lesson

I've worked with actors of all levels, but the majority of my clients are working actors.

If you need someone with a perspective that will challenge and improve your performance, then Jason is more man! He has point of views that can give your scene or monologue better stakes and decisive goals. He'll open your eyes and challenge yourself to become the best you can be.

Jason is so easy and fun to work with! The second I got an audition for an ABC show, I asked him immediately if I could see him for a coaching session. Within minutes, he responded with a convenient time and location. I ended up getting a call back! From now on and forever, I will always see him for any audition that comes in.

He was incredibly kind, nurturing and gave great direction. I'm a beginner and he helped me not only with my audition, but with figuring out how I wanted to map out my career in the business.

Jason was invaluable in helping to cast my film. His knowledge, intuition and experience working with actors always offers new perspectives I hadn't considered when in the room. And he knows how to put actors at ease so we see the best of what they have to offer. Such a joy to work with!

Jason is the real deal. He just understands how auditions work and what needs to get done. It doesn't matter if it's a one liner or three scenes; you will leave his place with loads of confidence and ready to go do the best audition one can do. I have booked several TV Network and feature film jobs due to jason's coaching.

I've hired Jason Boegh to cast and direct several small corporate video productions. His knowledge, mixed with a great sense of humor, made for a very enjoyable job. During two different commercial shoots, Jason directed my actors and really understood the process and got great performances from them.
