About William
Hello, I am Charlie
No need to worry about your academic work anymore. I am a honors roll higher schooler ready to assist you with your work while ensuring that you see academic progress and a better understanding of the subject.
I excel in the following subjects: Math: Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Pre-Calculus/Science: Physics, AP Physics 1, Astronomy/ Computer Science: AP Computer Science Principles, Python
I often think back to a quote found in a Latin proverb, "In teaching others we teach ourselves." With that in mind, I can confidently say the best part about being a tutor is growing along with the students you teach. In a way, my knowledge of subjects I am passionate about is tested when I teach. It is in this process that my skills grow and I get closer to mastering the subject.
I unofficially got started teaching back in eighth grade when my peers would often look to me for help in Life Science. It was then I learned how different students required different techniques. Ever since I have discovered the different techniques that work with certain types of students.
Each class I offer a tutoring service in not only have I received A's (and 5's on AP exams when it applies) in but I have also furthered my education in the subject. For Astronomy, I actively compete in Science Olympiad and rank high. For Python, I have multiple projects I have published on Github. For math, I actively am a member of my high school's math club and compete in regional math competitions while tutoring during academic support. For physics, I often help my teacher create the homework and help my peers in academic support.

When working with a prospective student, I first wish to meet with the student to understand them better. Thus, the student and/or parent(s) join me in a Zoom meeting and discuss topics struggled with and desired goals. This meeting typically does not take more than thirty minutes; in the end, there is an established plan of action agreed upon by both parties.
I have been helping my peers education-wise since eighth grade. As a result, I have worked with all types of students. College prep, honors, AP/IB, and special needs.
To meet the tutor first and see if there is a connection between instructor and student. I believe that if a tutor can connect with their student personally, the desired learning outcome will be achieved significantly faster. That is partially why I have seen so much success tutoring. I am typically close to the student's age, allowing me to bond easier. Additionally, due to my age, I have experienced the struggle many students are going through, making me best suited on how to overcome those challenges.

Charlie is always available for help. I’m not sure what information he’ll give out but for me i had access to his number and whenever I needed help with homework or labs he’d always make time for me.
Charlie and I share a couple classes together in real life, AP Physics 1 being one of them. I typically do good on the homework but the tests always kill my grade. So I finally asked him for help. He was reasonable with the price and within the first one hour session I had a good understanding of uniform circular motion. For that unit I was even able to finish with an A with further help. Overall would highly recommend to all who need help with Physics.

Typically I charge $15 per hour, although I understand due to the circumstances of the times many families are struggling financially and many students are struggling academically. For that reason, I am always ready to lower the price for students who are inhibited due to financial reasons.
