About Nena
Being a part of the deaf community open up a whole world and allows us to bridge the gap in community where there is a deseperate need. In my teachings, I also help you learn about the structure of ASL, and Deaf Culture.
I began interpreting over 30 years ago and because of my love for ASL and deaf culture, I began teaching about 10 years ago.
I have interpreted in a variety of situations and locations around the country. I have an Arkansas level 3 and a Mississippi level 3 State certifications. I maintain around 20 hours of CEU's every year.
I have a 3.9 EIPA score and have taken and passed the written and Ethics portions of the NIC
