About Anne
I teach hearing infants to communicate with their parents/caregivers before they can speak, by using American Sign Language. Why wait until your child is 16-18 months before knowing what they want or need. Relieve MONTHS of stress by learning just a handful of signs. You do not need to learn a whole new language. Masters degree in Deaf Education. But I also taught my own two (hearing) children to sign and saw firsthand, how much easier it was for me to know what they wanted when they could tell me with their hands. I will also teach any age to sign too.

Masters in Deaf Education. B.A. in Psychology. Two children who were taught sign and used from the ages of 9 months-2 years. Pereformed "Songs in Sign Language" at Borders Bookstore on weekends, when my children were young.

I meet with infant and parents and engage with child in comfortable environment. Usually playroom or livingroom. On first meeting I will introduce to parents how signing works and when to introduce the signs. Answer any questions. Sing some simple songs. Show 3-5 signs.
