I start with all the basic positioning of a typical baseball stance in both hitting and fielding. As the student shows progress I will continue to step it up the level to reach full potential.
i work with ages 7 through 21. Work with softball players as well as experienced players. The vast majority of my work has been at the little league level and worked with high school and college players as well.
Look for someone with experience and with that comes the knowledge of getting the best lessons and the best effort out of the student. Hard work and dedication will be a major contributor and reaching your maximum potential. That is one of the major goals here.
There are numerous clinics I have worked with for several years. The Major League Baseball Players Alumni (MLBPA) holds several clinics throughout the calendar year. It is far the cream of the crop when it comes to baseball clinics.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
How can I improve on a daily basis? What are my strengths and weaknesses.

Perfect! "when can we see Coach Oreste again" was the first thing my son said when we left the training. We did a private lesson with him for an hour, Oreste Marrero can see every movement whether it be a flaw or a positive in the hitters swing. He's a human slow motion camera and swing analyst. He very quickly corrected numerous things from fine tuning foot position, rotation, power delivery and enforce numerous others using great examples and techniques kids can understand using few words and instead teaching my son to feel a great swing. The same goes for his fielding and throwing techniques, the fastest and smoothest technique I've seen.

Orestes does a great job of communicating with children on their level. He encourages them to find the right technique while not being rigid or demanding. My son always looks forward to their sessions. And from my perspective, the results were very apparent, not only from a technical level but from a confidence level. I HIGHLY recommend Coach Orestes.
I have trained and played for him since I was 13 years old- Oreste is the best coach and trainer I have ever trained with and played for. I was treated with respect and learned a lot. Now I am playing at the next level in college and enjoying the journey.
A coach/trainer that gives his full attention , respect, and skills to each player so that the full potential as a player can be reached. Everything Oreste says and does is for the love of the game - he shares the passion for every aspect of the game as his student player has. His knowledge, skills, and positive critique makes a difference that I see on and off the field. From a parent’s point of view - Oreste is the best coach/trainer and you will not regret having him be a part of your son’s training- no one better!
Oreste’s knowledge of the game is second to none. He is the best with kids of all ages. He really help my children progress to the next level. Not only did he instruct him for years but he helped get them to college.
He would always give personal and individual help to myself as well as all of my teammates through the years. He coached me for over 8 years and not only helped me get out of my slump but also better both my hitting and pitching. He further taught me how to excel at every position. I am now playing for my college baseball team and I owe it all to him.
Oreste always took the time to give personal instruction to every player before, during and after games. He genuinely cared about each player and did everything he could to make everyone reach their full potential.
Excellent knowledge integrity decency patience
Oreste is very knowledgeable about the game of baseball, and has a true passion for the game. Being a former professional player, he has the skills necessary to help others improve their game. He’s is very personable, and makes sure the players understand that you can play to win and have fun at the same time.
My son started using Oreste in third grade and utilized him until tenth grade. He is far and away better than any other coach we tried. He’s patient, attentive, knowledgeable, and unquestionably knows the game. My son progressed to a level where by the time he reached ninth grade he was being watched by the varsity coach. By tenth grade he was playing varsity at short and as a pitcher. Can’t say enough about him.
Oreste is extremely knowledgeable when it comes to hitting. Both the physical aspect as well as the mental. His patience and work with my son resulted in vast improvements in his game. I highly recommend Oreste to anyone looking to further their development.
My son took lessons with several instructors over the years, but Oreste was the best! Super knowledgeable, and easy, clear manner of teaching. Greatly improved my son’s hitting. Highly recommend!
Oreste was quickly able to evaluate my son’s batting stance and make incremental adjustments that resulted in significant improvement.
Oreste was great with identifying some issues with my son’s batting. After his first private lesson we saw immediate results. We have continued working with Oreste and the results continue. Would definitely recommend Oreste.
Oreste shows a lot of passion and heart when teaching. He is all business, but he makes it fun as well.
He knows the ins and outs of the game. A true professional
Oreste has been great with my son. His knowledge of the game and the way he relates to kids is priceless. His teaching has shown a major difference in my son's baseball development.
Oreste knows how to patiently get through to my son. He explains everything in detail and DEVELOPS my son's skills. And most importantly develops his self esteem and confidence. Thank you!!!
Oreste has the ability to quickly help young players with their baseball skills. My son has started making more contact and his hitting has improved tremendously during his travel baseball games. His MLB experience vouches for his training methods.
Coach Oreste is the best coach I’ve ever had. He was more then a coach to me though, he was a role model. Everything he represents is everything everyone should strive to be. Hardworking, dedicated and most importantly caring. All these traits really prove how great of a man Coach Oreste is. He was my coach for only 3 short years. I wish I met him earlier in my career. Because in those 3 years he’s made me a better player, a better student and most importantly a man. I love Coach Oreste and for anyone who is wondering what type of person he is, look no further and just read this summary. You can ask anyone he’s talked to and they’d tell you the same thing. There is only one Coach Oreste!
