About Miriam
I teach & perform Belly Dance for women only. It's a great way to love what you see in the mirror no matter what you weigh or your age! I have done birthday parties for young girls from age 6 & up who love dressing up & have fun learning this beautiful dance. Learning this art form was the best thing I ever did for myself & I would love to share this gift with other women! I have been dancing since 2004 & have performed at birthdays, showers, hennas, luncheons & many other all female events. I am also one of the coordinators for "Night of Enchantment" shows...an all women's night out event, featuring a fabulous array of dancers! I also teach weekly in Club Central in Cedarhurst NY! I learned to Belly Dance in my local gym after I couldn't lose weight from my pregnancy. I walked into that first class & was mesmerized!

I have worked with women of all ages & ethnicities!
I know that sometimes it's easier to take online classes in the privacy of your own home...but nothing can replace having someone guide you & help you do the movements correctly. Aside from all that, the sisterhood & connection you build with your fellow students is something that can't be found anywhere else! The people I met in my class are my best friends & soul sisters!
Our last "Night of Enchantment" show which took place in March 2018 wswsuch a thrill! I choreographed our group dance in my class & it was so amazing!! I was so proud of my ladies & myself!!
