About Reiner

I am a Chemical Engineering undergraduate with vast knowledge on topics like Chemistry, Physics, Thermodynamics, Fluid Mechanics, and Math. I have tutored for 8 years and have worked on online tutoring for 2 years now. I have learnt that every student has a different way to view and learn things and that it is our job as tutors to help them discover which is their way. Working on their weaknesses while improving their strengths is of utmost importance for them to be able to approach subjects in their own.

I enjoy meeting new students who are eager to learn new things and completely understand the topics they are having troubles with. Many times we can learn as much from students as what they learn from us

I was always a bright student so I tutored my classmates or students from lower grades. Once in college I continued with it and got into official jobs tutoring/teaching

I'm about to finish my Chemical Engineering major.
I have taught both English and Spanish at language centers.
I have tutored since high-school days in many different subjects.

About the lesson

At first I like to speak with them about what is giving them a hard time with the subject. Once we start the lesson I like to work everything step by step while asking them what follows to see how much they understand, and what parts they have a hard time with to be able to work properly.

I have worked with all kinds of students. I have tutored students in primary, high-school, and college. I have also worked with adults learning new languages.

Even though having a vast knowledge is important for a tutor in such difficult subjects, it is more important to find a tutor who is able to share his knowledge in a way that is easy for you to understand. The subjects are difficult enough as they are for them to be overcomplicated.

In 2019 there was a knowledge competition in my faculty. Four groups made up of 5 integrants would complete lab challenges with some given tools. The team I was in was the only one not composed of students from last year, and we still managed to win by a big margin.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Am I sure what I don't understand? Do I have a hard time with the subject in general, or just a specific part of it? Do I have enough understanding of the topics required to learn about this specific topic?

Depending on the difficulty of the subject that will be tutored the pricing for 1 hour of tutoring ranges from
15$-25$. If the hour is not fulfilled then a proportionate price is given for the amount of minutes tutored.
