Mila's an amazing tutor! She explains everything extremely clearly and goes over practice questions with me multiple times if there is a concept I am having struggling with. She takes different approaches to explain something if I'm not understanding it one way, and I always come out of our sessions a lot more confident about the material!

In my sophomore year of college I got 47 on my first organic chemistry exam, and so I sought a tutor at CUNY Brooklyn College tutoring center and Mila was the first person that was available that fit my time and schedule. After her first tutoring session, I was confident that I would go there again to seek her guidance. Her easygoing, in-depth explanations on the big concepts were very helpful. Not only did she tutor me and help excel on my second and final exams which I got 89 and 92 but she was able to provide with helpful resources that benefitted me as an individual. She was able to point out what I lacked in terms of learning difficult concepts and helped me improve and for that I am grateful.

Taking rigorous courses like bio 1 and chem 1 online has been a tough adjustment for me, as someone who excelled well during in-person sessions. The material didn’t seem to connect well with me and I felt discouraged for some time because I wasn’t sure how to do better. I fortunately met Mila at the learning center from Brooklyn College after explaining to her my situation. Having Mila tutor me really allowed me to finally make sense of my coursework and I instantly started doing better in class. My last bio and chem exam grades were a 96 and 98 and prior to encountering her, I was landing in the low 70s. Mila is very willing to work and accommodate with your schedule and she really takes the time to break down and go over the materials I was being taught. She is a really great tutor and I’m glad that with my semester ending in a couple of weeks, I was able to save my grade and prevent messing up with my GPA.
