About Caitlin
Hi, my name is Caitlin, but my friends call me Cait. I recently graduated from California State University, Stanislaus with a B.S. in Biological Sciences. I'm deeply passionate about science and learning. Because of my passion and determination to succeed as well as the support of my family, professors, and peers, I was able to graduate with a 4.0 GPA. Throughout undergrad, I informally and formally tutored in the sciences (primarily biology and chemistry). I hope this translates into the quality of tutoring I can offer to you. Most recently, I have tutored two high school students in their biology and chemistry courses, respectively. They were both doing very well in their courses before I became their tutor. However, their parents found that they were not being challenged enough in their classes, so they reached out to me. The purpose of my sessions with them was/is to take the concepts they have learned in their high school courses and build on them at a collegiate level. My main goal as a tutor is to enhance your learning experience and help you to develop or strengthen your passion for science while also getting you to a point where you can become an independent learner and no longer need my help. I like to make my sessions engaging and fun while also productive.
