Tutoring involves listening. Tutoring involves problem solving. I love to do both.

Students meet with me to get insight into 'how to do Chemistry' AND to gain support.

Sometimes, they don't think they can do it. Sometimes, they need someone to remind them that the effort leads to mastery and it's worth the time.

About the lesson

When working with a new student, I schedule a 5 minute conversation two days before our session to discuss three goals they would like to acheive during their session.

The student will tell me about their trouble spots and give me an understanding of their current topics.

Through this brief meeting, we can gain focus on the tutoring session.

I tutor online using white boards, Google Classroom, and other online products. If you have a stylus pen, it's more comfortable for the student to interact with the Whiteboad problems. You can look over my website to understand my process.

In my expereince, it's best to have a conversation so I offer a FREE 30 minute consultation to see if we are a good fit. I typically schedule an online meeting.
