About COLTON

I have a B.S in Biology and graduated Summa Cum Laude with a GPA of 3.96. I have taken and passed all pre-req classes for pre-med, and am currently preparing for medical college. I was a tutor, Program Assisstant, and served as a Supplemental instructor for Bio 102 when I was in undergraduate.

I'm good at breaking concepts down, and helping you understand the topics. I will help you pass, and attain a good grade. Science isn't meant to be overtly challenging, and i'll help you understand that, because science is meant to be logical.

When I was in college tutoring Biology, Chemistry, Microbiology, and advanced algebra.

B.S in Biology 3.96 GPA, served as a Tutor, Supplemental instructor, and a Program assisstant at my undergraduate facility.

About the lesson

Tell me what you need to know, provide me with the required chapters/ problem set/ or practice test, allow me to refrersh on the material, and devise a gameplan for working with you.

Explain the concepts in a logical manner, show you the underlying concepts, and work through the problem sets with you, and help further if needed.

Remember science shouldn't be overtly challenging, and I can guide you to understand that, because science is grounded on logical principles governing the known world.

Principally adult students. People that want to learn the material. If you will not put in the effort, and it is obvious I will not spend my time further with you.

Understanding science is principally understanding concepts, terminology, and basic mathmatics. These are not overwhelmingly complicated, but they do require tremedous effort.

I will help you understand the material, and not just understand the material, but appreciate it's beauty.

Red flag for me is someone who wants to met non-stop or repeatedly each week. I understand the logic, but my goal is to make you self-sufficient; not dependant.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
What they want to know, what they don't know, and where they are confused. Is it a process, a concept, or is a lack of basic terminology holding you back from understanding?

Before you approach anyone for help know exactly what it is that confuses you.

Example: 40-60% of Introductory Biology is Terminology, and the other is processes "photosynthesis, muscle contraction, meiosis &mitosis." You will understand some, but others will give problems. Know what it is that is troubling you, because specificity is how tutors/teachers can help the best.
