About Christin
Preparatory tutoring by an M.D. I love to work with students and mentor them about career options. Will work with any age kids. Learning is about being inspired and motivated. It’s never too early to start training your kids how to love learning and studying. If a child gets started right, the sky is the limit.
I love watching the lightbulb go on for kids to grasp a concept. It was wonderful seeing kids who have struggled with concepts now understanding and thriving. Success gives the kids motivation and propels them to do even better.
I started teaching before medical school and continued throughout medical school as a tutor and TA.
I am a licensed medical provider with an M.D. I have been a tutor for microbiology, genetics, Physiology, anatomy, and chemistry. I have taught in public schools kids of all ages. I have a strong background in curriculum and education.

I typically talk to the parents about what they believe about the needs of the child. Then I discuss with the child what they believe their strengths and weaknesses are and What they would like to achieve in the long run. I try to get a feel for their learning style by asking them some questions and establishing a rapport.
