About William
I am a trained high school chemistry teacher by trade. I have a great track record of assisting students who struggle with the foundations of chemistry and I would be happy to assist you! :)
I love seeing the lightbulbs go on inside students' brains when they understand a challenging concept. It makes me feel accomplished.
I graduated college in 2011 with a Master's degree in curriculum and instruction to teach high school chemistry.
I am a certified high school chemistry teacher. I taught it for 11 years before becoming a supervisor.

The process can be very different for each student, however, I would normally ask new students what they are struggling with the most to get an understanding of how to best support them. Then, I would make a specific calendar of what we would work on and what activities/learning would need to get done before there can be marked improvement.
I have worked with many different types of students, however, I feel most comfortable with students who tend to have a hard time with science/chemistry because I feel like I can make the biggest difference and they can show the most amount of growth.
