About Joseph

I have helped over 300 kids around the world learn and improve with chess and Rubik's cubes. I am a fun, patient, and effective tutor.

I always find the best examples and exercises to teach so that the student has fun and is able to overcome the challenges and new topics.

I'm a patient person and I've always loved to teach, chess is my passion so I've taught some people while I play as a professional player.

I'm a professional chess player and I played in the national selection of Colombia some years ago. I've been a student multiple times, but I've also taught people how to play chess.

About the lesson

First of all, I need to know what my student knows about chess, after that, I determine how I'll help them learn about this beautiful sport.

I've helped mainly kids, but I've also helped amateur players of various ages.

It's important to find a teacher with a lot of years of experience, but it's also important to find a teacher that can identify the needs of the student.

Some time ago, I was talking with a friend and explaining to him a match that I played in an important tournament, and he told me that I would be an amazing teacher. That was one of the reasons that got me to search for chess students.
