About Cameron

As a recent Georgia Tech Mechanical Engineering graduate, I bring a personal touch to helping students learn difficult subjects such as Calculus and Physics. I also earned a minor in Chinese and it is a passion of mine, having studied it since middle school and traveled to China many times. Additionally, I have a personal interest in history and love the opportunity to share that with other students.

I have always enjoyed working with children and spreading new knowledge to anyone. Throughout my studies at GT I pursued possible teaching career options because I feel I have the passion and energy suited to that field.

I began tutoring kids in high school.

I graduated Georgia Tech recently with a major in Mechanical Engineering, a minor in Chinese Studies, and concentration classes in Finance. I also tutored students during the summer when I was in high school and found a passion for it.

About the lesson

I first begin with getting to know them so I can better understand the type of student they are and what teaching methods might be most effective (examples I can use, etc.). Then I like to get an understanding of the subject they are having problems with and what areas of the subject they are struggling with.

I worked with a program that focused on elementary and middle school aged students from Atlanta.

Make sure they find a tutor that can connect with them and understands the subjects well enough to be able to teach in a way that speaks to them.

I recently built my own personal computer and am enjoying helping other friends build theirs.
