About Sau
About me:
I am a doctoral student working in the field of Artificial Intelligence, Natural Language Understanding and Machine Learning. I have been an outstanding student of Math and Sciences all my life.
Tutoring:
My focus is on thorough understanding of the material. Practicing and mastering it further flows naturally with comparitively little support.
I feel there is a smarter way of engaging the learner and introducing subject matter in a way that is either grounded in real world applications of a concept or theoretical analysis of usecases to assess why something is valuable enough to be learned.
Knowing the value of what is being learned is a great relaxer for the student, it gives them a purpose as to why they should be spending their time doing the hard work, which in my opinion is equally if not more important than the all details of the subject matter. Especially in the long run.
I believe in tearing a complex concept down to its bare bones, where a curious audience could understand it with least possible prior knowledge requirements. Discovered gaps in understanding are filled gradually, building most material from ground up.
I think one of the best ways to learn is either one on one or small groups.
I just love to teach! It brings me so much joy to guide a person from the state of not knowing to completely understanding and being able to use what they have learned to solve problems big and small.
