About Chris
I learned to program computers in 1980, when I was a Sophmore in high school. From that moment I knew I wanted to be doing something with computers. In 1987, I started working full time as a programmer/analyst and in the years since I've done just about everything you can do with computers! I still love programming and 'playing' with computers. People have always said I have a knack for teaching. I'm currently teaching computer science and cyber security at The College of Southern Maryland and enjoy seeing others get the same satisfaction and passion from learning about computers!
Programming and building systems are rewarding in the same way that any craftsman can understand. Using specialized knowledge and tools to create tangible solutions is incredibly satisfying.
Helping others to learn has also been rewarding to me.
