About Sharding
Hello and Welcome! My name is Scott and I hope I can help you work toward your goal of mastering technical subjects.
I have experience teaching electrical engineering, computer science, and physics at the pre-college and college level. I've developed course materials and tutoring techniques over the years which I'm excited to share with you.
Please feel free to contact me to start a lesson! I'm always happy to listen to your goals and experiences and then build upon them to master the material.
I have always loved electrical engineering, mathematics, and computer science! From my earliest experiences with engineering and science, I've always been interested in discovering new ways to explore the material. From the first time I realized my value in small study groups helping my classmates to my time designing postsecondary course material, I've always enjoyed spending my time helping students grasp the material.
I have experience teaching electrical engineering at the postsecondary level. I've developed a lot of course material and tutoring material related to microprocessors: Arduino, ARM, RISC, etc.

Hello! My typical process for working with a new student is to introduce myself with a simple "hello", just as I've done here. Then I will ask the student questions about the nature of the problem they're working on.
If my students are any indication of my fondness for being a great tutor, my students consistently comment that I have a great attitude and overwhelming enthusiasm. Students are often surprised that the subject can be interesting even though they might have thought it would be awful, for example: " This quickly became my favorite course of the semester to me since I have never been good at coding and thought this would be an awful class. This class inspired me and I'm sure I'll keep messing around with coding in the future".
