About Kiesha
Hello 👋🏽
I work as a DevOps Engineer in the Insurance sector and currently work with a Java-like proprietary language. I’ve obtain an Associate’s degree in Computer Science.
Some languages and skills I am versed in are Java, JavaScript, MySQL, Git, Jenkins, Scrum, Agile, and cloud assurance.
I am a serial hobbyist and enjoy learning new things. In the dev field, life long learning is a given passion. I believe teaching is the best way to stick material which is often my approach. I like to keep things lighthearted and fun.
I’ve found that creating an environment similar to the workplace is the best way to prep for working in the field. Programming is rooted in collaboration and flexibility in most places. This is the approach I’ve heard is best and has helped me in my career development.
