Emily is amazing! An incredibly hospitable chef, with knowledge for new and seasoned cooks alike. Great for big groups and birthday parties.

This was hands down the best team experience I've ever had! A stunning location with gorgeous view, intimate homely setting beautifully decorated, a gracious and 'on a mission' host who juggled a team of 16 remarkably smoothly. The combination of cooking, instructions, mingling and no pressure to get involved is what made this a fantastic experience. Would highly recommend it to groups of people looking for something unique and memorable.

A Fantastic Experience!! My work requires a lot of client entertainment and evenings at First Class Cooking are always a winner. The food is excellent, the venue is outstanding and my clients think I'm so in-the-know for introducing them to a unique experience. Emily is beyond generous and gracious in welcoming guests to her home, has an incredible knowledge and deep passion for food and cooking, and knows how to educate and entertain with equal aplomb (which, as host, means I'm able to get conversation time with each of my guests). My boyfriend and I were gifted two passes for Christmas for this culinary class and we couldn’t be more pleased with the experience. Emily was hands on, attentive, and informative in her presentation of ingredients and recipes. Definitley recommend her class for a special date night where you’ll leav with more than a few new tricks for the kitchen.

100% recommend. Very hands-on and personalized, and much different from most cooking classes where everything is pre-measured. Great view overlooking San Francisco. I was able to learn many new kitchen skills. I feel confident that I can make these recipes at home.

Emily has a lot of great tips and is EXTREMELY patient with people. I wanted to grab the knife away and chop things myself most of the time, but she kept her cool and let the newbies learn. (Hence, why I'm not a teacher...nor chef). The menu was great (always is - I've been to many classes!) and I love the casual vibe and beautiful view. I'm always learning a fun new tip when I go - and hope to return again soon!
