About Lindsay
My service stands out because I am able to work with others independently and discover what my students need as a teacher. We are able to grow and discover new ways to explore movement and how it benefits the body. My focus is in commercial, tap, contemporary, and jazz dance.
I enjoy getting to work with students from all different walks of life and different backgrounds. I love sharing my passion of dance with others and helping others grow in the beautiful art of dance.
I have been doing my own free lance teaching as I am not specifically set in a studio. Dance has always been my passion and I want to share that with others.
I have a Bachelor of Arts in dance from Cleveland State University. I have experience working with people of all ages from choreographing youth musicals to being a part of the CSU Modern Dance Company.

I examine exactly where the student is with their technique level and we work together building upon material to grow as a dancer.
I have worked primarily younger students from 7-14, in musicals and choreographing for events. I also have experience in a professional setting of a dance company and learning how to work together as a group, which I find very important.
The advise I would give to a student looking to hire a teacher in my area of expertise is to find a teacher that fits your needs and requirements. Be aware of what you are looking for. Ex: Are you a commercial dancer? Do you want to focus more on ballet?
A recent event that I am fond of is getting to work with youth in their production of Aladdin Jr. I loved working with all different skill levels and finding ways to exemplify each child's strengths. We became a family and it was some of the most rewarding times I have ever had.
