About AMY

At Inspired Dance, we believe the credibility of a dance program is found in how a program shapes your child’s self image. Please visit us at (concealed information) for more details.

Our program is founded on Christian values and standards. We encourage students to practice good habits of character along with practicing the physical skills learned in class. Each week our classes will nourish the body with physical activity, the mind with knowledge, and the spirit with positive feedback. It is important that our dancers know they are special to us!

We are a non-competitive Dance program that seeks to focus on the art of performing, improving technical training, building good character, establishing healthy habits, and using Dance as an instrument for good.

Come experience the difference our program will make on your child’s self-image. We care about protecting your child’s integrity just as much as we care about the quality of our training.

Our program has one main purpose: to help students feel successful, loved, and a part of something special. If we help improve your child's image, quality of life, and/or physical abilities...then we have succeeded, however long or short you are with us!

I love working with children and youth. I love helping them learn, be creative, find confidence in their abilities, and encourage them to reach their potential. I also love to help them grow and find success. It is important to me that our students are progressing in the skills we teach them.

I went to local schools in meridian area to see if I could rent the gym to teach dance classes after school. I also taught at other local dance studios but knew that I wanted to establish my own studio and be a different kind of dance program.

I have a Bachelors of Arts Degree in Dance Education from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. 2002.

I have been teaching dance classes since 2003. I love teaching, dance, and children. I feel that I work well with the youth. I love to help them feel successful as well as recognize the need to work hard to see growth in their abilities.

About the lesson

I like to get a feel for what the dancer is looking for, past experience, if applicable, maturity level, and where coming from so I can give the customer the best possible class. I like to make sure that kids and parents know what to expect before they go to class.

ages 3-16, and adults

Make sure they understand anatomy, age-appropriate skills, and can help you understand what the body must do in order to achieve that skill. They should be able to provide progression exercises, skills, and teach exercises to help strengthen the appropriate muscles. They should also provide safety instructions.

Yes. I try to keep prices affordable. Prices are reasonably set based on the number of minutes or hours your child takes each month. see prices on our website. We are under $40/ month for a 60 min class each week.
