About Aishah

Hi, I’m Aishah — it’s a pleasure to meet you! I recently graduated with a degree in Physics from King’s College London, driven by a deep curiosity about how our world works and how the fundamental laws of physics shape our understanding of reality. Outside of science, I’m also a passionate writer. I’ve completed my first fantasy novel, inspired by the people around me and the ideas that excite me most. I previously worked at Explore Learning, where I gained valuable insight into what students truly need to excel. Through extensive training, I learnt how to tailor lessons to each child’s individual learning style, ensuring that every student feels supported, confident, and engaged. Tutoring has always been incredibly rewarding for me — seeing a student smile when something finally “clicks” genuinely makes my day. My tutoring philosophy is simple: Every session is personalised to your individual needs. I focus on building confidence alongside strong academic understanding. All my resources are curriculum-based, and I use exam papers extensively to strengthen exam technique and mastery. I also incorporate diagrams, videos, and interactive explanations to turn challenging topics into achievable goals — not just making you great, but the best of the best.

About the lesson

My sessions are structured to be clear, personalised, and results-driven. Before each lesson, I prepare a tailored plan based on the student’s goals, ability level, and upcoming assessments. I begin every session with a brief warm-up to assess understanding, followed by a focused explanation of key concepts using diagrams, examples, and step-by-step methods. We then move on to guided practice, consolidating knowledge through curriculum-based questions and past exam papers. To help students achieve their goals, I emphasise confidence-building alongside academic progress. I break down complex ideas into simple, approachable steps and adapt my teaching style to each student’s learning preference. Progress is measured regularly through mini-quizzes, exam-style questions, and short check-ins to track improvement and identify areas for further support. I believe that encouragement, clarity, and consistency are essential for effective learning. My aim is to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, motivated to improve, and equipped with the skills they need to excel.
