Welcome to Hinovations Art Gallery - Studio

Being able to think creatively will distinguish your child from others. An Arts Program teaches a student

to approach tasks from different perspectives. A child is able to step out of its comfort zone and allows him/her to make mistakes and learn from them. This process gives children the confidence to exhibit their emotions and feelings. Art Training will boost self confidence, help deal with problem solving, keep consistent and focused, learn to receive constructive feedback and motivate dedication.

I began my art career at the age of 9 when I began studying art in Mexico. Since, I have been performing my career path for over 35 years. I am completely devoted to the Arts in our Community and look forward to sharing my knowledge with gusto. I continue to do research on topics and methods to offer innovative techniques of teaching in order to make the learning experience more enjoyable for the students.

I began my studies at 9 with my first Teacher who would come down from Monterry to a little old town called Cd Mier in Tamaulipas Mexico. She taught me oil painting for a year. I continued studying art through High School and decided to continue at the University of Texas in Austin. While studying at UT, I was fortunate to work for a University Gallery and collaborate with the Harry Ramson Center which holds one of the best Latin American Art Collections in the nation. This motivated me to work in Museums and to eventually open my own gallery and studio.

I worked for the International Museum of Art and Science in McAllen, Texas for 8 years in the areas of Outreach, Education and Exhibits Set Up. I opened an Art Studio in the year 2000 to have a place to paint away from home and decided to take on a few students. Opportunities came up and I converted the Studio to an Art Gallery that offers a platform for artists to exhibit their work as well as serves the community with Poetry readings, Book releases, provides hand-crafters a place to showcase their work and other valuable educational programs for all ages.

Hinovations Art Gallery not only offers In-Studio Classes but has an Outreach Program as well.

I began studying art at the age of 9 yrs. Continued with art studies in High School and onto the University of Texas at Austin.

I continue with refresher courses at UTRGV and STC in the Rio Grande Region.New

About the lesson

New students go through an assessment process. I measure their abilities-strenghts and weakness in the area of concentration. I suggest artists to study, techniques to practice and continue to offer advice and corrections as we continue working together.
