About Joseph
Hi! My name is Joseph Lee and I believe I am uniquely positioned to tutor you in engineering because I have a broad background in the field. I currently work full time as an Electrical Engineer designing circuit boards, embedded systems, and sensor technologies for a 3D printing company. My past work experience has involved everything from designing fiber lasers to building large imaging telescopes. I was an avid science fair competer in High School and even went on to place 2nd in the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF). I decided to start tutoring because I love sharing my enthusiasm for engineering with others.
While I can help with specific engineering classes or topics, I excel at making everything connect to real-world applications and situations. My goal as your tutor would be to foster your curiosity and help you learn how to learn. My favorite moments are when one of my students asks a question and I help them discover the answer for themselves by asking them guiding questions.
