About Emily
Hello students! My name is Emily Lawson, and I am currently in the Newman teaching program and will receive my Bachelor's of Science in Elementary Education this December. I have worked as an ESOL paraprofessional for three years, which has given me plenty of classroom experience as well as opportunities for teaching that is required for my degree. When teachers decide to become teachers, it's never for the salary. I love teaching because I pour all of my effort and time into the students I assist in my classrooms. My job as a new teacher is to guide students in their growth academically as well as their well-being. I hope that I will be able to help you or your students to achieve their goals!
