About Nadia
I loved English classes throughout my education. I always excelled at writing specifically. I scored a 5 on the AP Language and Composition exam, and am a great tutor for academic writing. I can help with writing/sprucing up essays for English classes or college admission essays. Let me know if you need help!
I took 4 years of English in high school, including AP Language and Composition and AP Literature. I scored a 5 on AP Lang, and a 4 on AP lit. I finished both classes with an A, and was exempt from taking English classes at the university level. I love writing, and I love helping people write.

I usually start by asking them to identify their strengths and weaknesses regarding a certain topic. Many times, students actually just haven't had enough practice to feel confident about a certain aspect of writing so they assume they aren't good at it. I think it's important to build confidence while students are learning a new skill. By identifying what they perceive as weaknesses, I know what to focus on. After that, I usually help make an outline to organize thoughts. Once the actual writing begins, I like to ask for a draft of some sort. Then after going through it I will leave helpful notes and suggestions for how to improve.
