About Samantha

Hi! I am a creative writer and editor with a passion for teaching others to write. I graduated summa cum laude from Azusa Pacific University with a BA in English writing. At university, I worked for three years as a writing coach in APU's writing center. I've worked with countless students on everything from research papers to personal statements, literary essays to poetry. I have worked with students of all different writing levels as well as English proficiency. No matter the student, I will make them a more confident and prepared writer.

My strengths as a writing coach are improving organization, clarity, and flow. I cannot wait to work with you!

I have a Bachelor of Arts in English writing and worked for three years as a university writing coach.

About the lesson

I like to have my student read their paper out loud with me, section by section. Oftentimes, the student will catch errors or notice patterns when they read it out loud. From there, I work with the student on their stated concern, whether it be flow, clarity, grammar, etc.

I've worked with students of all writing levels. I've also worked with students of varying English proficiencies as I coached many international students at university.
