About Adam

YouToring is disrupting education as we know it. How? By utilizing bleeding edge technological advances in Virtual Reality in order to engage our students in a way that has not been possible till now, and by using proven pedagogical methods which speed up student progress beyond that of the classroom: thematic learning and flipped classroom methodologies. These methods have been shown to improve student progress by 19.5% over traditional classroom methods.

Founder of YouToring, Adam Bevan graduated from the prestigious Loughborough University with a BA Hons in English and Drama before gaining his Diploma of Education. Over the past decade, having been recognized for his outstanding work as an English teacher in London, England as well as having helped thousands of students with their English studies before deciding to expand across 'the pond' by going to Chicago. His extensive experience has guided the creation of a brand new way to interact with students which immerses them into the learning: giving them the chance to feel as if they are right in the place they are learning about, whether that is the busy streets of New York city, the beautiful temples of Asia, the cold wonder of space or the mysterious snows of Antarctica.

I loved English and Drama as a student and I loved the idea of inspiring others to learn in this field. I'd also always been fascinated by Math and Science, so I simply followed that passion.

About the lesson

We put the learning into the hands of the students by allowing them to go through our material at their own pace, which is known as the flipped classroom method. The students then have time dedicated with a tutor to speak about the challenges which they are facing with the material. This learning style has been shown to speed up progress in student's attainment by 19.5%

Havng taught in London, one of the most diverse cities in the world, I have worked with a very diverse range of students, including students with additional educational needs, students who are gifted and talented in certain fields, such as English and Math, and students from both wealthy and impoverished backgrounds from all different cultures.

Find somebody who loves what they are doing and who has a large amount of experience in that field. That teacher is someone that will make sure that you are on track every step of the way, and who knows the material inside out.

Access to the YouToring platform is $60 per month and we recommend one hour of tutoring per week to give your son or daughter time to discuss their progress in the subject, which is at a rate of $60 per hour.
